Rattan garden furniture is manufactured by hand-knitting synthetic rattan material on a painted and welded aluminum frame. The neater the synthetic rattan weave is, the longer the life of the garden furniture. By testing the weave of the garden furniture, you can have information about the weave quality of the product you will purchase.

You can check whether the knitting is loose by gently pulling one of the horizontal rattan braids from the edge. The rattan of a loosely woven garden furniture is likely to break and become even looser. Make sure that the garden furniture you purchase is knitted tightly.

Gently push with your finger a part of the rattan knitting surface that does not have an aluminum skeleton behind it. If the rattan surface stretches too much, this weave is likely to cause you problems. There is very little stretching on the surface of a skillfully made knitting and the strength of the rattan gives confidence.

Make sure that the rattan garden furniture you are considering purchasing does not have a surface that will disturb you while sitting or touching its surface. Rattan garden furniture may have woven protrusions in the corners or curved surfaces due to production, and these may disturb you.
