Maintenance of Iroko & Teak Wood Furniture

Iroko and teak are naturally oily woods. After processing, you can see that it loses its oil and changes color over time. This is a very natural reaction of the tree. Fixing this situation is extremely simple.

For the maintenance of furniture made of Iroko and teak trees, we recommend that you clean your furniture once a year and lubricate it with teak oil. After these procedures, your furniture will return to its original state and its life will be extended.

Furniture that is maintained periodically does not need sanding or similar workshop maintenance. However, sanding is recommended for furniture that has been neglected for a long time. It is necessary to apply teak oil on clean furniture, after a few minutes, make sure that the oil is distributed evenly and wipe it with a dry cloth to remove the excess.
